At Exceed Nutrition We Do Things Differently
I’m sure you’re curious as to what we do here, but before that I want to tell you why this site exists, what it means to me, and what I hope it will mean to you.
When we experience something that brings us great results or pleasure, we want to share it with others.
If we discover a new exercise in the gym, we tell a friend to try it out, or if we eat something delicious we ask them to taste it.
For me, I’ve learnt a ton of nutritional information that I feel is so beneficial and important, that I have to share it with everyone I can.
As you read through the site, you’re going to learn about nutrition and how to feed your body nutritiously and deliciously.
I can provide you with all the tools to finally be in control of your nutrition, giving you the power to be at your best and to go beyond your very own expectations.

Here's My Story...
My goal was to look freakin’ awesome.
But in my mission to add large amounts of muscle, lean up, and build my strength, I forgot about two other major components: how I felt and how I performed. And I didn’t realise how they would radically affect me.
I was so focused on changing the outside of my body, that I neglected (and ignored) how I was feeling and performing on the inside.
I was doing a lot of hard ‘bodybuilding’ training and following the typical ‘magazine’ nutrition advice. The result? I felt pretty horrendous and my performance in day-to-day life wasn’t much better.
I was constantly fatigued from the intense training, lacked concentration throughout the day, and had little energy left for any other activities. Aside from my dedicated ‘gym time’, I was pretty damn useless.
To top it off, the mainstream nutrition advice I was being told to follow by magazines and forums was actually destroying my health, giving me IBS symptoms and skin issues like acne.
It was clear I had to find another way.
Finally, I’d had enough. I set myself a new goal; to look, feel and perform my best – all day, every day. This is what I now call High Performance Living.
The problem was, back then I didn’t know where to start.
There is a lot of advice out there aimed at helping people lose body fat quickly, yet it fails to consider how someone will feel or perform during or after the process. Of course it might work, there are many ways to get to an end goal, but most people cannot sustain it long-term. In the end, they revert back to old habits and lose their results.
So, armed with my new goal, I decided to study and experiment with a huge number of nutrition and training protocols. The aim was simple: to discover whether I really could achieve HPL. After throwing out the rubbish (which was most of it), I was left with a surprisingly powerful yet pretty simple set of principles.
I’ve since gone on to prove them time and time again. These principles - the HPL Coaching System - allow me and my clients to create and maintain healthy, lean, strong and energetic bodies.
What was the primary ingredient for success? Great nutrition.
As a result, nutrition quickly became my key interest and passion, and I learnt that this is where the focus should be placed to achieve every health and fitness goal.
If you are not able to achieve this too, something is missing. More often than not, it comes back to nutrition.

He’s a former ‘skinny to fat guy’, turned nutritionist, and subsequently he competed at national level in drug free bodybuilding.
